Born in Chester, Virginia, Trip Bruce’s racing roots run deep. His hometrack, South Side Speedway, is where his love for motorsports took shape—and where he began building a career that would span more than three decades. Trip has worked with a wide range of drivers across multiple race teams, earning a reputation for excellence, adaptability, and precision.
As GK Racing’s Crew Chief, Trip’s role is critical: overseeing race-day strategy, managing the garage, and fine-tuning performance to ensure the No. 95 is always competitive. His calm leadership and wealth of experience make him a cornerstone of the team.
Away from the track, Trip is a dedicated father of four and a proud grandfather to four grandchildren. In his downtime, he enjoys restoring all types of machines—bringing old engines back to life—and spending time on the water, indulging in his love for boating.
